The festival, which is in its eighth year, features the works of new South Asian filmmakers from all around the world.
"It is a very big platform. I am elated and looking forward to showcase our film at the festival, " director Praveen Kumar told.
The film, which is releasing Oct 14, also stars Anand Tiwari, Rajat Kapoor, Sadia Siddhque, Sita Spada and Pitibash.
Set in Bihar, the dark comedy revolves around Kishu, who falls in love with a foreigner who has come to India for researching Indian culture.
