The Deols seem to have no qualms about releasing their film "Socha Na Tha" on Feb 11, just before Muharram is observed.

Some producers and distributors are cautious about releasing their film during a time when Muslims abstain from visiting the cinema, while others are cautious for more superstitious reasons.

Also to avoid Muharram, producer Salim Akhtar will release his film "Chand Sa Roshan Chehra" Feb 4.

"It is true that Muslims stay away from films during the first few days of Muharram. But after the first two to three days collections are back to normal," tells Imtiaz Ali, director of "Socha Na Tha".

"Coincidentally it also happens to be the Valentine's Day week, so there'll be a lot of youngsters visiting the theatres," Ali added.

The unassuming Ali, known to be a hot favourite with the Deol brothers, is now working on a new set of promos for the film.

"I am hoping that the film will get the expected response from our young target audience," said Ali.
