Indian actor Preity Zinta has been awarded World Diamond Group Platinum Award for friendship between nations at the Venice Film Festival.

The film festival was also the occasion for the preview of "Ulivo Bianco" (White Olive Tree), a priceless marble, platinum and diamond sculpture.

Created by the artist and theologian Agatino Cappella, World Diamond Group's Artistic Director, "L'Ulivo Bianco" consists of a hand-sculptured Carrara marble block representing a tree trunk, 3333 grams of platinum representing branches and leaves and 3003 diamonds for a total of 366 carats.

"L'Ulivo Bianco" will be next displayed at Palazzo Lascaris in Turin, before starting a world tour in other prestigious places.
