Even as their two films together — Shaad Ali's Bunty Aur Babli and Sarkar race ahead — superstar Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek have decided to come together at a stage show being organised by Sanjay Dutt for tsunami victims this month.

Confirming this sensation performing coup, the senior Bachchan says, "Special occasions demand special treatment. We'd have probably not agreed to come together on stage if it wasn't for a cause as noble as this. I feel anything that we do for tsunami victims is but a drop in the ocean. And if that drop can create a slight ripple by our presence, then why not?"

The fact that Sanjay Dutt is the organiser also tilted the scales in favour of this mega-event. Adds Bachchan, "Yes Sanju is someone both Abhishek and I are very fond of. He's a part of our family. And we can never say no to him."

What would this never-before item featuring the spectacular duo be like? "We're yet to work out the nitty-gritties. But yes, Abhishek and I are getting on stage together. It will be a tough act for me. At my age, I can hardly hope to keep up with my son. I hope he'll be considerate while performing," Bachchan says.

Interestingly, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan may be getting together for yet another event, this time the Filmfare awards at the end of the month.

"Yes," confirms Bachchan. "We've been invited to perform together. But we haven't said yes as yet."
