"It's a very proud moment for the Guzaarish team. Black also received an overwhelming response in Korea. That's why we decided to release a large number of prints, " said Bhansali.
Earlier plans of dubbing the film into Korean were dropped since it was felt that voices to match the lead actors would be hard to find. The film will now be released with Korean subtitles. UTV Senior VP International Distribution and Syndication Amrita Pandey said, "Black was the first Hindi film to be released in Korea.
It was a huge success. Guzaarish got a fabulous response at the Busan film festival, so we decided to go all out. We are releasing the film across all the major cities in Korea including Seoul, Busan and Goyang."
Roshan and Bhansali are expected to fly down to Korea for the film's release on November 8.
