"These things are part of career decisions", says Konkona of 'NAME SAKE'
National award winner Konkona Sen is not regretful about having to lose out on Mira Nair's prestigious project,
NAMESAKE to Tabu, due to her dates clashing with mother, Aparna Sen's 15, PARK AVENUE. "These things
are part of career decisions, that you cannot help. There was no way I could adjust the dates. I am sure there
will be another opportunity to work with Mira Nair and I am looking forward to it," smiles Sen.
Right now, Konkona is in a jubilant mood about the success of PAGE 3. "The overwhelming response to the
film has been quite encouraging. I believed in the film like I do with every film that I take up and I am glad that it
appealed to the audiences," she says, adding that she would love to work with Madhur Bhandarakar again, if
the opportunity arises.
Meanwhile, the distributors of PAGE 3 are laughing their way to the bank what with the film raking rich returns
at the box-office. The one who is most excited is director Madhur Bhandarkar, whose phone hasn't stopped
ringing ever since.
"I have received more than 400 congratulatory messages from people in the
industry, besides another 35 offers. It is heartening to say the least. I want to take another month's break
before I decide on my next project," says Madhur.
