Star's loved ones recall that one distinct trait they remember most about their children from their younger days...

Punam Sinha
Mother of Sonakshi Sinha

As a kid, Sonakshi always got her way and knew how to get it, no matter what anyone would say. If she wanted to have nine laddoos, it had to be nine, not eight or 10. She was pretty clear-cut what she wanted.

Even though she has two brothers (Luv and Kush), she bullied them and how to get her way. It was like the boys are mine while she would be the apple of her father's (Shatrughan Sinha) eye.

But at the same time, she never troubled me or made unreasonable demands. She would study by herself and I didn't have to worry about her work.

Neelima Azeem
Mother of Shahid Kapoor

I come from a family of writers. I remember, when Shahid was 7-years-old, one day, I couldn't find him anywhere.

I went out looking for him and I found him surrounded by a huge bunch of kids, all between seven to 16 years. He was animatedly telling his friends an adventure story.

Apparently, the story session was on for more than half an hour. The way everyone was hooked, I realised that he was going to be a writer one day.

It's in the blood. My dad was a great writer. Shahid was very fond of his granddad. They used to chat for long hours about everything under the sun."

Rishi Kapoor
Father of Ranbir Kapoor

There was this one time when we had gone to London with the Roshan family. Ranbir was barely four or five years old at that point.

But I remember how he insisted on having this one guitar he had seen in a magazine or on television. It was pouring in London at that point, but he was such a stubborn kid, he just wouldn't sit in peace unless I got him the guitar.

I had to walk all over the city and made sure I got him what he wanted. He even refused to eat lunch. Now when I see him play the guitar, I feel life has come a full circle.

Sunaina Roshan
Sister of Hrithik Roshan

He had only two fetishes as a child. He used to keep staring at himself in the mirror and of course, he used to put on music and start dancing whenever he'd get a chance.

We used to fight so much, that our mother would get very worried, because she'd think it's abnormal for siblings to fight so much. But he'd take my glasses and just fling it every time we fought. But even as a kid, he would be very protective of me.

He'd come and stand beside me whenever I'd speak to a guy. He'd not let the conversation begin. He was a very shy kid, but today that has changed. Now he does a lot more for me than I do.

Aamir Khan
Uncle of Imran Khan

As Imran was at boarding school, he would visit Mumbai only during vacations. He played my younger version in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.

I can recall that he loved tinkering around the camera on the sets and everyone thought that he would become a director. He loved to watch us and had a big crush on Juhi Chawla.
