Akshay Kumar, the brand ambassador of Special Olympics Bharat, recently interacted with disabled athletes at the closing ceremony of the event in Ahmedabad.

The star's association with the event is an on-going process, reports Bollywood Trade. Next month he will be in Delhi spending time with disabled children and encouraging them.

Akshay was chosen as the brand ambassador of the cause for his disciplined, non-smoking, non-drinking image and his martial arts background.
