She's shoulders with the who's who of the entertainment industry; her hair and makeup were done by professional Frenchmen who have worked on some of the most beautiful faces in the world and she's had a brush with the international paparazzi who appreciated her look.
What's even better, she shared the front row with the likes of Uma Thurman and Olivia Wilde watching Kate Moss sashay down the ramp.
Sonakshi, who's still reeling under the Fashion Week hangover, shares her style secrets with CS:
Happy being me
I'm always under the microscope for my style sense and fitness quite often. But it really doesn't bother me, because fashion to me is wearing what I am comfortable in and that suits my body type.
There is pressure from a lot of people to lose weight, but I don't think my audience would want that. I'm happy with the way I look and most importantly, I'm healthy.
I work hard to maintain myself and always try to look better. But I don't believe in going to an extreme or being stick-thin. Also, if I have been accepted for the way I look, why would I do anything to change it?
Cool and casual
My first film projected me as a very Indian, village-type of a girl. But since I was born and brought up in Mumbai, I'm really not like that. I am a very urban girl. I like being casual, cool and spunky.
Most of the time, you'll find me in jeans and a t -shirt. I think, a pair of well-fitted jeans that flatter your body type, are a must for every girl.
And then all you need is a couple of cool tees and some funky accessories to complement your look.
Chilling out
Well, the nip is in the air, so I think it's time to bring my jackets out.
I love wearing them in the Mumbai winters, so you're likely to spot me in jackets with stockings or leggings and maybe boots all through this season.
I'm not going to stick to any particular colour palette, but I love bright colours -- yellow, orange and green are my current favourites. They're just perfect to ward off the cold!
