Tom was accompanied by his co-star and B-town actor Anil Kapoor at Imax Cinema in central Mumbai's Wadala area.
Forty-nine-year-old Tom looked stunning in a blue shirt and jeans on Sunday night.
"It is amazing. This is my first time in India," Tom said.
Tom said that he is asking directors to make films with him and he would visit India to be a part of that project.
The actor landed in Delhi on Saturday and went to Agra to see Taj Mahal. Anil Kapoor accompanied him to the 'palace of love'.
"I saw the Taj Mahal," he said.
Kapoor will be seen playing a character named Brij Nath in the much awaited release of the year.
"Hollywood and Bollywood, we will bring the both together," Tom said.
Tom praised the acting skills of Kapoor as an actor.
The Hollywood heart-throb and his co-star Paula Patton spent nearly two hours at the theatre and also interacted with their Indian fans.
Girls went crazy to see their hero in such close proximity and desperately tried to get an autograph of Tom, who was seen signing his name quite casually.
Large number of people had assembled at the venue to catch a glimpse of the actor and few kept on clicking the moment with their mobile phone cameras.
The crowd cheered aloud as the stylish actor greeted his fans in Hindi by saying 'Namaste'.
"Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" is the fourth film of the popular 'Mission Impossible' series where Tom will be seen solving another thrilling case as 'Ethan Hunt'.Hunt acts as the IMF point man for an established and experienced field team.
The film will hit the global silver screen on Dec 21.
