"American Pie" star Tara Reid doesn't want her male fans to think that she is like the sexy, vivacious characters she plays on screen.

The "Alone in the Dark" actress frequently gets requests from male admirers to repeat sassy lines from her movies, said Contactmusic.com.

Referring to a sexually explicit line she famously uttered in "The Big Lebowski", Reid told British magazine Maxim: "They always ask me to say it! But I don't want to.

"Guys often think you're just like the character. They fall for your character, not you."

Reid played Bunny Lebowski in the Coen Brothers' 1998 film, which also starred Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore, John Goodman and Steve Buscemi.
