Actress Dia Mirza loves the thought of turning 30, and hopes for an exciting new decade in life.

The former beauty queen-turned-actress-turned-producer turned 30 Friday.

"Thank you ALL ever so much for your thoughtful messages! Overwhelmed and grateful for the love I am bestowed with. Turning 30 is FAB, " Dia tweeted, after receiving a flood of good wishes on the micro-blogging site.

"Bid farewell to the decade that went by...My 20s were so amazing... Now I look forward to a new decade :) excited, inspired and humbled, " she added.

This year, Dia's debut production "Love Breakups Zindagi" hit the screens.
