Aishwarya Rai, who is Bollywood's most famous star in Hollywood, has declared that though she is keen to
do meaningful roles in crossover cinema she will not show skin to get attention.
The emerald-eyed stunner, however, said that she is willing to do kissing scenes if the director considers
them imperative.
"I do recognize that this is a huge topic of discussion. I don't believe in shedding my clothes to get
attention or to create media buzz or to apparently make a movie more watchable," The New York Daily
News quoted Aishwarya as saying.
"I look at it that you really work within your comfort zone and that's where conviction comes in. It's really
about the roles themselves," she added.
Aishwarya's upcoming Hollywood projects include the role of a battered prostitute in 'Chaos' with Meryl
Streep, Roland Joffe's 'Singularity' opposite Brendan Fraser, and tentatively in Michael Douglas' 'Racing The
Monsoon'.
The former Miss World and Bollywood diva, however, has no plans to leave Bombay and move to
Hollywood.
"Home has been Bombay, and I don't see any reason for any kind of
permanent shift," said Aishwarya.
