Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has received a threatening letter from an anonymous person, police said
today.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Bandra region) Amitabh Gupta said that the star had received the
anonymous letter a month ago and had informed the police.
"The issue does not appear to be serious and we are not investigating the matter," he said adding the
police had earlier checked the matter thoroughly.
Asked if there was any underworld element involved, Gupta refused to comment saying "I have nothing
more to say about the matter."
But in a fresh twist to an already bizarre tale, Aamir Khan's aide Ashish Chauhan has denied reports that
the The Rising star received threatening letters from his brother Faizal.
