The trailer was apparently rush-completed for the sake of the doting dad's wish to be a part of his daughter's film.

A bit premature for the Tezz trailer considering Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn (who plays the film's main antagonist) are now, at this very minute, shooting the one-to-one bare-fisted climactic fight for which Anil has been getting into physical shape for a few months now.

Producer Ratan Jain defends the decision to release the trailer so early, "It's true we're not finished. We're shooting the climax right now. And then we've some work with Kangna Ranaut pending.

I am really not ready yet for my April 27 release. But I will be.
