Brad Pitt and model April Florio have both denied rumours of a secret romance.

The "Ocean's Twelve" star, who split from wife Jennifer Aniston last month, claims the girl photographed with him on Los Angeles' Venice Beech by the US magazine In Touch was his assistant, adding that he was not the man pictured with Florio in Greece.

According to the Internet Media Database, Florio has told rival publication Us Weekly: "I've never even met him (Pitt)."

In Touch's editors argue that Florio's agent Mike Esterman had confirmed the affair in an email that said: "She was with him and wanted it to be on the low down". But now Esterman states that he was referring to another man, not Pitt.

He says his client wanted to keep things under wraps because, "she's married".
