Actor Hrithik Roshan, whose "Agneepath" is coming out next week, believes that seeking divine intervention before a big release is important, but insists that this alone is not enough to make a film successful.

"Before the release of my father's films, I go to Shirdi. I have been to Vaishno Devi once or twice. But I have realised that buttering up god on just one day is not enough.

It is important to make an honest effort every single day of your life and that itself is enough to please the gods," the 38-year-old actor said at a function here.

"Agneepath", remake of the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer of the same name, is slated to release Jan 26 and stars Sanjay Dutt as the main villain, and Priyanka Chopra as the leading lady.

Rishi Kapoor also features in an important role in the movie, produced by Karan Johar and directed by debutant Karan Malhotra.
