A R Rahman has responded to the Christian Social Forum who raised objection over the word Hosanna in one of his songs in Ekk Dewaana Tha as reported in Hitlist, January 17.

He says, "I had researched it and had consulted friends who are Christian about the use of the word. The song was a sensation when it was released in the South a couple of years ago.

I am concerned about the sentiments of all those who appear to be hurt."

However, this doesn't mean that he has conceded to the demands to eliminate the word from the track.
