Michael Jackson's former wife is determined to prevent the pop superstar from calling their two children as defence witnesses in his upcoming child molestation trial.

Debbie Rowe hopes to stop their son Prince Michael, 8, and daughter Paris, 6, from testifying at the "Thriller" singer's trial in Santa Barbara, California, reported the Internet Media Database.

The two kids had their names read out in court on Monday - as part of a list of possible witnesses for Jackson's defence.

Rowe is set to testify for the prosecution against Jackson.

Jury selection in the trial, for which Jackson has pleaded not guilty to charges of molesting a 13-year-old former cancer patient, has been postponed until next Tuesday since Jackson is suffering from influenza.
