Rushad Rana bags Upanishad Ganga

Actor Rushad Rana, who was seen in the movies like Veer-Zara, Mod and Dor, will soon be seen in a mythological series called as Upanishad Ganga.

The serial which is based on the teachings of Upanishad will depict Rushad as a USA return lad interested in studying Upanishads.

Talking about his role of Satyadharama, Rushad said, "The character of Satyadharama is much like me. He has come down to Banaras to learn Upanishads from a Professor he has only read about.

"Though I have not studied Upanishads but being a Philosophy Graduate such studies do interest me and so I would love to read them."

The serial which airs on DD from 11th March, is produced by Chinamaya mission and is directed and written by Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
