Veteran actress Farida Jalal is returning to "Balika Vadhu" as Badi Jiji. She is excited about taking the story forward in a major way.

"The most vital thing is that Jiji will be instrumental in taking the storyline forward and brings in a drastic change," Farida said in a press statement.

Her re-entry will trigger more friction between the Anandi-Jagya-Gauri relationship in the show.

"Last time around I brought about a change in Dadisa's heart, this time let's see whose hearts melt," she added.

Farida plays the role of Dadisa's elder sister in the Colors' show.
