The sixth season of the show, which happens to be Indian adaptation of the British television game show 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?', will probably be telecasted around the middle of this year.
Producer of the show, Siddharth Basu, confirmed the news to a reputed daily and was quoted as saying that he intends to work with the actor on this show even for the seventh season.
Reportedly, the 69-year old actor will shortly begin shooting for the promos of the show.
The prolific actor has not been keeping well from past many months.
He was recently admitted to the Seven Hills Hospital where he underwent undergo two abdominal surgeries. The root cause of his prolonged ailment goes back to 1982 during which while filming a fight scene for Manmohan Desai's 'Coolie' he suffered a near fatal intestinal injury.
However, the actor has been associated with television for quite a long time. He has hosted all the seasons of the show - starting from 2000 - except one which was done by his then rumored-rival Shahrukh Khan. Bachchan hosted the third season of the reality show Bigg Boss in 2009.
