Actor Akshay Kumar has rubbished reports that he is upset with filmmaker Shirish Kunder after watching the rough cut of their new film "Joker".

"To anyone who has read or heard the rumour that I was upset with my director Shirish Kunder, sorry to disappoint you but that's exactly what it is, a RUMOUR!! I haven't seen Joker yet, so I have no reason to be upset," Akshay tweeted.

According to the reports, Akshay was not happy the way "Joker" has shaped up and asked the director to make some modifications.

"Joker", which also stars Sonakshi Sinha in the female lead, is due fpr release Aug 31 , narrates the story of an ambitious small town girl Pooja, and how she gets embroiled in the dirty game of politics.
