The comic actor showcases a different side to his personality on the show. He shares experiences of his political journey, clarifies rumours surrounding his superstitions, pays tribute to his mother and even dedicates a bhajan to her, said a source from the sets.
Govinda was happy about being on "Movers & Shakers", which was a rage when it first came on TV in 1997 on Sony.
"Shekhar is the USP of this show. I have always admired his sense of humour. His sense of timing and delivery with comedy is amazing and I am glad that he is back to doing 'Movers & Shakers' 'dobara', " the actor said in a press statement.
Shekhar is equally thrilled, and went down memory lane while shooting the episode.
He said: "It is fantastic to have Govinda as the guest on the first episode. It felt great to reminiscence about the old days.
"While we were shooting it brought back a flood of old memories when he came on the show in the first season. Despite having spent 25 years in the industry, he hasn't changed one bit. He still is the same humble guy whom I first met way back in 1985."
Coincidentally, Govinda and Shekhar have quite a bit in common. They both started their career in the film industry in 1985, both of them tried their hand at politics, and both tried singing as a career.
The show will go on air on Sab TV Monday.
