Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, Congress MP Priya Dutt and designer Nandita Mahtani will be among the judges of the first edition of Women Awards 2012, which celebrates the victory of women who have inspired the lives of many.

Co-sponsored by Femina magazine and cosmetic brand L'Oreal Paris, the award ceremony will honour the most accomplished women in the fields of art, music, education, business, social activism and cinema for their talent, grace and ability to inspire.

Zeenat Aman Other celebrities who will join the judging panel are photographer Jatin Kampani, India director of L'Oreal Paris Nathalie Gerschtein and businesswoman Sulajja Firodia Motwani. "Our legendary signature - 'Because you're worth it' - has empowered women over the past 40 years.

These four timeless words are a reflection of women's potential to express themselves...We are happy to honour such women by partnering with Femina to host our first Women awards," said Gerschtein in a statement. The event is scheduled for March 22 here.
