Life can be a bag of contradictions at times. Who knows it better than Arjun Kapoor?
Boney Kapoor's son who's making his Bollywood debut under the aegis of Habib Faisal, the National Award winning
director, is currently going through a personal crisis as his mother Mona Kapoor has been diagnosed with cancer.
And all this while the promos of his film produced by Yash Chopra are garnering rave reviews. However, Arjun is handling the situation with considerable understanding and maturity, it is learnt. A friend of the actor
reveals, "Arjun is very happy that the trailers of his debut have earned such a good response.
For a newcomer, praise and enthusiasm can be very comforting in times when the opening determines the box office fate of the film. At the same time, he's troubled by his mother's illness." The friend further informs us
that it's neither easy for the young Kapoor to make sure he devotes enough time to his mother.
"Although Arjun has to complete the dubbing for the film and also give time for the promotion, he's ensuring that he also spends as much time as he possibly can with his mother, who's undergoing treatment," says our
source, adding that the actor is not letting the stress show.
The friend says, "Such circumstances would be trying for anyone, and Arjun is no different."
