The eagerly anticipated release of James Cameron's Titanic 3D has attracted large audience pools all over India to garner a
collection of 70-80 percent.
The 3D remastering of the original 1997 blockbuster that had bagged 11 Oscars that year, released on Thursday and since its
onset multiplexes have been gasping for space in cities like Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai, where majority of them had full
houses.
Expectations regarding the movie's success have touched gigantic heights and the upward trend has reassured observers of the
intense anticipation and affinity amongst Indian fans for the classic romance tale.
Released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, the 3D remake pays a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the sailing of the Titanic
and its eventual tragic end on 1912.
Starring multiple Academy award winners, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, the film showcases a romantic interlude between
two individuals separated by social strata and the one that eventually comes to a tragic end following the destruction of the ship
on which their love blossomed.
