Composer Raju Singh, who has worked on the music of Bollywood musical "Jhumroo", based on Kishore Kumar's classic numbers, says the legendary singer's melodies bring out the child in everyone.

"It's been a pleasure to bring back the music of Kishore Kumar. I've grown up with all these songs, and whenever I sat down to work on them for 'Jhumroo', I realised I became a child," said Singh.

The musical, packed with 19 Kishore Kumar songs, including "Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si", "Eena meena deeka", "Saamne ye kaun aaya", will be staged at Gurgaon-based live entertainment destination Kingdom of Dreams, Saturday onwards.

After witnessing the response to the show during the media preview Thursday, Singh said: "Today I realised that his music brings out the child in each person."
