Cate Blanchett won the Oscar for the Best Supporting Actress for her role as Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn in "The Aviator" while Morgan Freeman won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in "Million Dollar Baby".

"Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" - a comedy of three rich orphaned children's adventures as they outwit their relatives plotting to kill them - won the Oscar for the Best Makeup.

"Spider-Man 2" won the award for Best Visual Effects.

"The Aviator" also won the award for the Best Costume Design, along with awards for Best Editing, Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography.

"Finding Neverland" got the award for Best Music in films. "Sideways" won the award for the Best Screenplay.
