"It is a cameo kind of a part, OK. I have like 10 or 12 days of work in the film. In that it is Pran saab's part and I thought it was a wonderful part. I'll try to do it to the best of my ability, " the 39-year-old told reporters at a press conference held for the music festival Lost.
"Don't ask me what it's going to be because I really don't know, but it is going to be something special. I want to do something special for Pran saab because I really loved that role when I saw it as a kid, " he added.
Arjun earlier portrayed Pran's part in "Don" remake - "Don: The Chase begins", in which he was cast as Jasjit. Pran is known for playing both villainous as well as golden hearted guy in films.
The National Award winning actor is also looking forward to Prakash Jha's "Chakravyuh", which is about Maoist movement.
"It's a beautiful script. 'Chakravyuh' deals with an issue that is very, very relevant today... The whole Naxal movement that is happening within the country. Yes, it is a very debatable, strong and powerful subject with issues, I think, people should know and which will be dealt with through the film, " he said.
Talking about his role in the film, Arjun said: "I play a police officer. His name is SP Adil Khan and he is the third generation from his family, they have always been in police and very right, very good and super fit."
"He goes through dilemmas of his own. It is about a guy wanting to do his job and being stuck in a 'chakravyuh', " he added.
Right now the actor is busy shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine".
