"Eka cholo re", Rabindranath Tagore's memorable poem sung by Amitabh Bachchan in the movie "Kahaani", was played during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match. It makes Big B happy.

The song was played during a match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Pune Warriors (PWI) Saturday.

"In the IPL at Eden garden in Kolkata .. divisive emotions .. Ganguly playing in his city for another team PWI. They tell me when Sourav got out and walked back, they played 'Ekla Chalo re' from Kahani, and the entire stadium joined in and sang..," the 69- year-old actor tweeted.

"To those that send appreciation on the playing of 'ekla cholo re' at Eden Garden ... my heart felt gratitude...But must give it to the Kolkatans .. even though they were divided, they gave equal appreciation ... only in Kolkata," he further tweeted.

The song "Eka cholo re" in in Sujoy Ghosh's movie was a tribute to Tagore's epic poem "Ekla Cholo Re", which was written in 1905.
