Although director Priyadarshan has apparently apologised to Ajay Devgn for the dismal performance of Tezz at the box office, industry sources say the actor may not work with the director again.
Priyan had been quoted saying that since the actor had trusted him completely with the film, he feels he has let him down. "I'm deeply ashamed and embarrassed," he recently said.
Our source points out, "No doubt Ajay is unhappy with the way the film turned out. The end result is a very poor shadow of the vision that Priyadarshan had given him during narration and subsequently during the shoot. Considering that Tezz was being promoted as an Ajay Devgn film, he has very valid reasons to feel let down."
Even though this is the second time Devgn has worked with the director, it is learnt that the actor has no complaints about Aakrosh, their first film together, even though it didn't fare well commercially.
"Never mind if Aakrosh didn't work at the box office as expected, Priyadarshan delivered in executing the script exactly as he narrated," said our informer, adding that the director blaming the producers of Tezz for badly handling the post-production didn't cut ice with the intense actor.
