For the uber hot chic
Colour, colour: Wear bright, solid colours. Colour is in these days, so even if you're in lots of colours, it's fine. If you're not comfortable in a short dress, go for a nice pair of pants teamed with an interesting shirt.
People feel that it has to be a LBD everytime, but that's not so. A good mix of casual and formal will also do. Even if you're wearing a ganji, just pair it up with a nice neckpiece to make it look interesting.
Eye-candy: I feel too much make-up is not really required. Instead, just highlight your eyes. You don't have to get the smokey- eyes look or the charcoal look. Just use good mascara, a bright coloured lipstick and you're set!
Breezy does it: For a summery brunch, do minimal make-up. Wear a soft blush, gloss and mascara. Summers are ideal to wear shorts and short dresses, so go for those. Layering yourself is a strict no-no. Whatever you wear, it should be breezy and comfortable.
For the conservative wearer
Go with the flow: Anything flowy is nice. It does not have to be short. As long as it's airy and doesn't make you feel hot, go for it.
Accessorise: Accessories go a long way in livening up even a dull dress. Whether it is just a watch, or something in your ears, it should be one thing. If you're wearing something in your hand, don't wear something on the other hand. Or if you're wearing something in your neck, don't wear something in your ears.
Camouflage: Wear clothes that cut your flaws. If you have unflattering thighs, don't wear shorts. Or if you have flabby arms, then don't wear sleeveless tops. Know your body type. Wear things that camouflage your flaws.
