Model-turned-actor Sonal Chauhan turned 25 on Wednesday. She was born in May 16, 1987 in Noida and her family hailed from famous Royal Chauhan Rajput of Mainpuri.

Sonal made her acting debut in Bollywood with Kunal Deshmukh directed movie Jannat. Before stepping into films, she was a model and won the title of Miss World Tourism in 2005 at Miri, Sarawak state of Malaysia.

As a model she has worked in various advertisement campaigns in print as well as electronic media.

Her other films include Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap (Hindi), Rainbow (Telugu) and Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu (Kannada) to name a few.
