Post Ayan Mukerji moving to Udaipur for the new schedule of his upcoming film, we have just learnt that something untoward had happened on the sets during their Manali schedule.
Apparently, the person, who was shooting the making of the film starring Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, gave Ayan a bloody nose. He was immediately sacked and sent packing back to Mumbai the following morning.
According to our source, ego issues at work could be the cause that triggered the conflict. "Seems Ayaan's assistants were using the camera of this guy, Vishwas Batra, who was sent to shoot the making of the film.
He got upset and brought it to Ayan's notice. But the problem wasn't resolved even after a couple of days. Then one night, over drinks, Vishwas again reminded him about the incident and that it interfered with his work, " recalls our informer, adding that the director stood by his ADs and instead gave Vishwas a piece of his mind.
Tipple trouble?
Further, we learnt that Ayan went on to say some very nasty things to Vishwas, which caused the latter to lose his temper.
As our informer reveals, "Maybe because he was a little drunk, Ayaan said those things. But Vishwas seemed to have had enough. By the time Ranbir got there to control the situation, the director had been hurt and was bleeding from his nose."
With the situation having taken an ugly turn, the production heads at Karan Johar's company decided to do away with the crew brought in to shoot the making and subsequently sacked them.
"Besides, they were also told not to talk about the incident to anyone, lest it would affect their working with other production houses in the industry. Thus the matter was buried, " sums up our source.
