Kareena Kapoor is no longer excited about the Shyam Benegal film she was to star in. The actress has been dilly-dallying over the project for almost a year now.

"Benegal is running out of patience. He may decide to shelve the film soon. Each time he calls her for dates, she asks for more time," divulges a close associate of the National Award-winning filmmaker.

A confused Benegal contradicts himself. "I had decided to make a film with Kareena. I can't reveal anything more. I may or many not make this film now." Benegal's reaction obviously stems from Kapoor's unprofessional behaviour.

Kapoor's business manager Zahid Khan says she hasn't signed the film yet but talks with Benegal are still on. Benegal wanted to shoot the film in three schedules and wasn't willing to compromise on dates.

Meanwhile, Kapoor has signed a Priyadarshan film with Salman Khan and Suneel Darshan's project opposite Akshay Kumar. She has also offered to star in Suneel Darshan's Dosti.
