Actor Sonu Sood, known for giving intense performances, is open to doing roles which require him to run around the trees, singing and dancing, but insists his role should have some substance.

"As long as it is convincing, why not. I think Indian cinema has survived all these years on this, but there are fewer films that are made on those notes, " Sonu told.

"It's not just running around trees and singing, my role has to be substantial and give me a reason to dance around the trees, " he added.
