The reason being his rather large heartedness. He is famous for telling his producers that even if he is okay with being paid late, his crewmembers ought to be handed out their fees right on time.

In fact, even during his previous films, the director has also been known to shower his crew with expensive gifts, including cell phones and items of clothing.

Now on the sets of his new film with Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan, he hasn't yet opened his Santa's sack. Naturally, the crew is waiting with bated breath to see what he gifts them this time.

A crewmember says, "Yes, we haven't received our gifts till now, but where will they go? I'm sure sooner or later we will get them."
