The Amazing Spider-Man has been declared superhit withing three days of its release both in India and Hollywood.

The film's opening weekend collections in India are reported to be in the range of Rs 27 crore net.

Not only in India, but this little master of web affairs, has been weaving his web real well in Hollywood too. The Andrew Garfield-Emma Stone reboot, directed by Marc Webb, reportedly collected a whopping $35 million during its first day in U.S. theaters.

Winning the distinction of being the highest money-spinner ever released on a Tuesday, The Amazing Spider-Man beat 2007's Transformers, which grossed $27.8 million on its first day in Hollywood.

"Spider-Man does whatever a spider can. Spins a web, speed surprise, catches audiences, just like flies," said Bollywood PR expert Dale Bhagwagar.
