After wrapping up his upcoming film with director Vishal Bhardwaj, word is that Aarya Babbar has walked out of his next helmed by Pahlaj Nihalani. Sources state the reason behind this could be some simmering tension between the actor and his co-star Govinda.
Sources add that Aarya's manager was not keen he take on a project, for which he was not charging a single penny.
Aarya denies having any problem with Chi Chi. But our source tells us, "Aarya's manager thought he shouldn't do Pahlaj's film. It would not be a wise career step to do a film for free after finishing a project with Vishal."
Aarya however says that after a no-show on the sets for five days, he informed the director (Pahlaj) to contact him only after the details of his role have been finalised.
The actor states, "I was shooting for Bharadwaj's next when Psahlaj ji approached me. I agreed, as he is a family friend. I took care of my look and my clothes, so that there would be no burden on him."
However, the actor rues that even after rescheduling his solo Punjabi project to give the director his dates, no shoot took place. He adds, "I can never have a fall-out with Chi Chi bhaiyya and I still hold high regards for Pahlaj ji."
