Arif Zakaria will play an Urdu newspaper editor in his upcoming film. The actor, who is a part of Sanjay Gupta's gangster film, is apparently playing a role inspired by a real-life scribe.

The actor says that the editor he plays was a well-known personality from the 1980s. Arif points out, "I play Naatik. The role is that of a fearless person, who was responsible for exposing many goons and scams."

Apparently, a lot of effort has gone into making the actor look authentic. Arif says, "I will be only seen in white clothes and different hairstyle with long sidelocks. Sanjay has done a lot of research on each and every role." Arif also has four other films in his kitty.
