There was a time when everybody in the industry was talking about the heat between Govinda and Rani not only on screen but off it too. The couple had got pretty close when they were in Switzerland shooting for Hadh Kardi Aapne. So much so that even wife Sunita believed it and walked out on him. 

Poor Chi-chi didn`t know what to do and even requested one of his actress friends to intervene and make Sunita understand that there was nothing on between him and Rani.Things have cooled down since then. But bond of friendship continues to exist. With his latest flick Kyon Kii Mein Jhooth Nahin Bolta released, the actor wanted Rani`s genuine opinion over his performance. And he arranged for special preview for her at Famous.

And the otherwise busy actress actually drove down all the way to town to watch the film. Imagine the having the whole preview theatre to her! But Govinda is known to be a ladies man, isn`t he!
