Filmmaker Govind Nihalani began his career as a director of photography

Banerjee and Pankaj Kapur. Niihalani is all set to take a break from being a director by becoming a DOP again, this time for a
Marathi film.
Director Gajendra Ahire says, `I can't believe my luck. I just went up to him to narrate my script and on the spot he agreed to
become the DOP. We have already completed two schedules of Anumati, which is a very sensitive film.
Govind doesn't
let the director in him to come out at all.`
