But with four films on the way and the monsoons ready to play havoc on her skin and hair, how does she find time to look good? Kirti spoke to CS about her skin and fitness regime:
Beauty basics
I cleanse my skin two-three times a day with a cleansing lotion for sensitive skin. I apply pure aloe vera gel directly taken from the plant for a couple of hours daily. It's the best thing for any kind of skin. And at night, I apply an eye cream.
As for my hair, I it as soon as it starts feeling frizzy, oily and dirty. I do an oil massage before washing it each time. I make sure the ends are well conditioned as the weather makes it really frizzy. I also apply a mixture of egg, curd and lemon to my hair. It brings back the shine.
A body to die for
I workout about 4-5 times a week. That's when I'm not shooting. During shoots, it gets quite difficult to manage any workout in the gym, so I stick to either doing yoga. I love playing badminton so I catch up on it whenever I get a chance.
In Bollywood, I think Shilpa Shetty and Deepika Padukone have the best bodies. They are well-toned and slim. In men, I like Hrithik and Dino Morea's bodies. They are lean and well-toned.
Foodie tales
Diet plays the most important role in helping one stay fit. I'm generally a healthy and small eater so going overboard doesn't really happen. But there are times that I cut down on carbs post 6 pm and stick to more of salads and soups. I make sure I add good amount of protein in all my three major meals and also include fruits, nuts, green tea and dairy products in my diet.
