Nandita Das who quit Children's Film Society of India as chairperson last month is currently focusing on theatre.

She's writing as well as directing a play and will be engaged in it till late October. Once she's done with this project, she'll be back to doing films and will also appear in a Tamil film.

On being asked how she manages to do what she does without compromising on her choice of work, she told CS, `There is so much around me that I can connect to and I don't feel any external pressure.

Being an artist, I just want to express myself and being in the creative field, it's part of my life to be inspired by things that move me.`
