Giving a big blow to Zee Cine Awards, Amitabh Bachchan has decided to remain absent from the event which is going to take place at London's Excel Arena on Saturday, March 26, 2005.

The Big B's decision comes in the wake of unfortunate Dubai event last year, when a huge fracas between the Morani brothers and Amar Singh took place over the seating arrangement.

Singh also locked horn with SRK at the last award ceremony when he intervened on the behalf of organisers.

Abhishek, however will be attending the event.
