"Akshay and Sonakshi are a superhit pair who have helped many in their own ways and it is amazing that even their clothes can contribute for the welfare of society," choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan, who has produced "Joker", said in a statement.
"We are giving the costumes of Akshay and Sonakshi from the movie to agencies who will auction them for the benefit of animals.
Given the popularity the two actors have, we are sure these costumes will fetch good money," added Farah, whose husband, editor-turned-director Shirish Kunder has helmed the film.
"Joker" will hit screens Friday.
