"Nothing has been confirmed as of now. We are very close friends so we keep talking, but nothing is confirmed, " he told reporters at a promotional event of his upcoming film, "Barfi".
The actor also said that he would love to direct and produce a film under the RK Films banner, but doesn't have the time at the moment.
"I have been saying that I want to direct and produce a film. But I am very busy and this is my fault only that I don't have time. I am conscious about it and I really hope that I can make movies soon, " he said.
Ranbir is very excited for his father, Rishi Kapoor's birthday and the entire family has made a plan to go to Dubai to celebrate.
"The full family is going to Dubai for his birthday. We will be leaving on (Sep) 3rd. It's an important event for us in our lives and in my family. We are very excited and we love celebrating his birthday. So we will have a good time, " he said.
The actor himself will be turning 30 this September said that he didn't have big plans for the day.
"I don't like celebrating my birthday and since I am 30, I feel like I am become old. Next year, I will come back with my 'Jawani' with my film, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, " he said.
