Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra has decided to file a copyright violation suit against a liquor company for using characters from his "Munnabhai M.B.B.S." in a radio advertisement.

The ad has Circuit confirming his admission in a medical college and an excited Munnabhai seeking the college dean to join in the celebrations.

Chopra is upset by the fact that his film is being used to promote alcohol when it won the National Award for wholesome entertainment. He also feels that it is illegal on the part of the brand to cash in on the success of the film without notifying the producers.
