Apart from being a talented singer Sonu Nigam has contributed immensely in the Bollywood with his noble deeds.

now we hear that the ace singer has come up with a unique organisation called the Singers Association of India (SAI), which safeguard and protect the rights of entire fraternity.

Udit Narayan, Abhijeet, Kumar Sanu, Sunidhi Chauhan, K K, and Shaan are the proud members of the organisation while Alka Yagnik is the president of SAI.

Ask him what was the need for such a body and he promptly replies, "Every creative field — music directors, directors, producers, choreographers and even chorus singers have associations. It was just the singers who didn't have one. Alka and I called for a meeting of leading singers and everyone agreed that we should go ahead."
